- The New Windsor Division I Eagles (8 and 9 year olds) have advanced to the Orange County Youth Football Superbowl. They played terrific Football Sunday on their home field at the Mt Airy Sports Complex. The Eagles scored a touchdown on their first two offensive possessions and never looked back in a terrific TEAM effort against the very determined Warwick Wildcats and posted a 21-6 victory.
- The Eagles gang tackling defense shut down the Wildcat Offense nearly all day. Middle Linebacker Uriah Clarke and Defensive Guard Gabriel Toro led the hard hitting Eagle defense with several devastating hits and relentless pursuit. Giving them brilliant support in the middle was Defensive Guards Eric Rosario, and Ryan Alphonse, Inside Linebackers Brent Ulrich and Nico Valeri, and Defensive Tackles Jamel Blanding, Ryan McGowan, Nicholas Slepoy, Ryan Noble, Steven Slepoy, Bobby Griffin, Chris Baines, and Tyler Vitagliano who had a key tackle for loss. Supplying exceptional outside support were Defense Ends Kevin Wood and JT Whritner, and Outside Linebackers, Dylan Cassisi, and Steven Schlett.
- Leading the way on offense with several dazzling runs were Quarterback JP Skivington and Fullback Uriah Clarke. Skivington got the Eagles on the score board late in the first quarter after a long time consuming drive with a 12 yard sprint into the end zone. Clarke added the extra point on a powerful burst off tackle. On the Eagles next possession Skivington outran the Wildcat defense for 58 yard touchdown. Clarke again powered his way into the end zone for the extra point and a 14-0 Eagle lead. The Wildcats answered on their next possession which made the score 14-6. That score remained until the forth quarter.
- Midway through the forth quarter Skivington put the game out of reach for the Eagles with an 11 yard scamper and the Eagles final touchdown of the day. Fullback Uriah Clarke broke several tackles enroot to a terrific extra point run and a 21-6 Eagle lead. Also making key runs and blocks were Halfbacks Brent Ulrich, JT Whritner, and Gabriel Toro and Fullback Ryan Alphonse. - The New Windsor Division I Eagles (8 and 9 year olds) have advanced to the second round of the Orange County Youth Football playoffs. They played outstanding Football Sunday on their home field at the Mt Airy Sports Complex. The Eagles scored a touchdown on their first offensive possession and never looked back in a great TEAM effort against the very though Middletown Middies and posted a 26-6 victory.
- The Eagles swarming defense shut down the Middy Offense nearly all day. Ryan Alphonse led the hard hitting Eagle defense with several crushing hits and strong pursuit. Giving him excellent support in the middle was Middle Linebacker Uriah Clarke (fumble recovery), Defensive Guards Eric Rosario, and Gabriel Toro, Inside Linebackers Brent Ulrich and Nico Valeri, and Defensive Tackles Jamel Blanding, Ryan McGowan, Nicholas Slepoy, Ryan Noble, Steven Slepoy, Bobby Griffin, Chris Baines, and Tyler Vitagliano. - The New Windsor Division I Eagles (8 and 9 year olds) were crowned Conference Champions Sunday after completing a perfect 8-0 regular season. They played nearly flawless football Sunday on Shea Field at West Point. The Eagles scored a touchdown on every offensive possession in an explosive effort against the Highland Falls Falcons and posted a 41-6 victory.
- The Eagles gang tackling defense shut down the Falcon Offense nearly all day. Gabriel Toro (4 tackles for losses including a QB sack) led the hard hitting Eagle defense with several crushing hits. Giving him strong support in the middle was Middle Linebacker Uriah Clarke, Defensive Guards Eric Rosario, Ryan Alphonse, and Raymond Maeang, Inside Linebackers Brent Ulrich (fumble recovery) and Nico Valeri, and Defensive Tackles Jamel Blanding, Ryan McGowan, Nicholas Slepoy, Ryan Noble, Steven Slepoy, Bobby Griffin, Chris Baines, and Tyler Vitagliano. - On the Eagles opening drive of the third quarter they faced a third and 22 when Whritner took a handoff and scampered 61 yards for a touchdown. Quarterback Sean Foschini than took off around end for the extra point and a 34-0 Eagle lead. The final Eagle touchdown came in the forth quarter when Foschini plowed through two Falcon defenders for a 2 yard score. Tight End Jamie Collins pushed the score to 41-6 with an outstanding run for the extra point. Halfbacks Brent Ulrich and Kevin Wood had several early key runs and blocks setting up the Eagles first three scoring drives. - The New Windsor Division I Eagles (8 and 9 year olds) improved to 7-0 playing excellent defensive football Saturday night on the road at Minisink High School. After a scoreless first quarter the offense score in each of the next three in a strong effort against the hard-hitting Minisink Green Warriors and posted a 21-0 victory.
- The Eagles tenacious defense kept the potent Minisink Offense out of the end zone all day. They constantly gave the Eagle Offense good field position. Middle Linebacker Uriah Clarke (interception) lead the hard hitting Eagle defense with several outstanding stops. - The New Windsor Division I Eagles (8 and 9 year olds) improved to 2-0 playing their first home game of the 2004 Football season at the Mt. Airy Sports Complex on Sunday. They turned in another strong effort against the visiting Chester Cougars and posted a 43-12 victory.
- The Eagles defense was very good, shutting down the Cougar Offense most of the day. Defensive Guard Eric Rosario and Inside Linebacker Nico Valeri lead the strong Eagle defense with several crushing tackles. Giving them strong support in the middle was Middle Linebacker Uriah Clarke (fumble recovery), Inside Linebacker Brent Ulrich (fumble recovery). Defensive Guards Ryan Alphonse and Raymond Maeang, and Defensive Tackles Jamel Blanding, Ryan McGowan, Tyler Vitagliano, Nicholas Slepoy, Steven Slepoy, Chris Baines and Sean Ciaschi played well giving interior line support. JT Whritner ran in the ensuing extra point to make the score 13-6. Clarke also capped off the Eagles next two first half drives with touchdown runs of 9 and 20 yards. Skivington outran the Chester defense late in the half for an 8 yard touchdown giving the Eagles a 31-12 halftime lead. Early in the forth quarter Toro out ran the Chester defense for a 12 yard TD which capped off the scoring for the day making the score 43-12. Opening holes for the Backs with tremendous blocks were Guards Kamaree Coard, and Raymond Maeang, Tackles Jamie Collins and Brandon May and Ends, Ryan Noble, Bobby Griffin, Stephen Slepoy and Chris Baines. Centers Sean Foschini, Sean Ciaschi and Brandon May did an outstanding job snapping the ball all game getting the Eagle offense started.

- Division I New Windsor Eagles Win Season Opener.
- The New Windsor Division I Eagles (8 and 9 year olds) opened their 2004 Football season at Wallkill High School on Sunday. They turned in a strong effort against the home standing Wallkill Panthers and posted an 18-0 victory. The Eagles defense was Outstanding, shutting down the Panther Offense all day. Middle Linebacker Uriah Clarke and Inside Linebackers Brent Ulrich and Nico Valeri lead the strong Eagle defense with several crushing tackles.
- Giving them support on the interior of the line was Defensive Guards Ryan Alphonse, Eric Rosario, Vince Maldonado and Defensive Tackles Jamel Blanding, Ryan McGowan, Tyler Vitagliano, Nicholas Slepoy, Steven Slepoy, and Sean Ciaschi. Supplying outside support were Defense Ends Gabriel Toro, Kevin Wood and JT Whritner, and Outside Linebackers, Dylan Cassisi and Steven Schlett. Clarke opened the scoring for the Eagles in the second quarter recovering a Wallkill fumble and rumbling 11 yards for a touchdown after he and OLB Schlett knocked the ball loose from a Panther ball carrier.
- Leading the way on offense with several outstanding plays including two long runs was Quarterback "JP" Skivington. He and Sean Foschini took turns directing the potent Eagle offense making crisp handoffs to Uriah Clarke and fellow Fullback Ryan Alphonse. Also carry the ball were Halfbacks Kevin Wood, Brent Ulrich, Nico Valeri, Jamel Blanding, JT Whritner, Gabriel Toro and Steven Schlett, who all had runs for substantial gains. Late in the second quarter Wood powered the ball up the middle for a strong 5 yard touchdown run to make the score 12-0.
- After a long drive to start the second half Clarke out ran the tuff Panther defense for a 14 yard TD which capped off the scoring for the day making the score 18-0. Opening holes for the Backs with terrific blocks were Guards Kamaree Coard, and Raymond Maeang, Tackles RJ Donaldson and Brandon May and Ends Jamie Collins, Xavier Tinsley, Ryan Noble, Bobby Griffin and Chris Baines. Centers Sean Foschini and Brandon May did an outstanding job snapping the ball all game getting the Eagle offense started.
