  • New Windsor D1 Eagles 2005 Super Bowl Champs.
  • The New Windsor Division I Eagles (8 and 9 year olds) concluded their season on Sunday November 20th, by beating the Warwick Wildcats at West Points Miche stadium. They turned in another outstanding effort and posted a 30-0 victory improving their record to 11-0 and winning the Orange County Youth Football League Division I Championship.
  • The Eagle defense was extraordinary, shutting down the explosive Wildcat Offense all day. Inside Linebacker Dylan Cassisi, D-Guard Eric Rosario, and D-Tackle Ryan McGowan lead the tough Eagle defense with several crushing tackles. Giving them support on the interior of the line was, Inside Linebacker Ryan Alphonse, Defensive Guards, Matt Skowronski, Bryan Arnold, Nick Iannolo, and Defensive Tackles Brandon May, Joe Vazquez and Isaiah Walters. Supplying outside support were Cornerbacks Steven Schlett, Jamel Blanding, and Giovanni Marrero, and Defensive Ends, John Townsell, Nico Valeri, and JT Whritner.   • Quarterback "JP" Skivington started the scoring for the Eagles capping off a 6 play 64 yard drive when he ripped his way through the Wildcat defense for a 29 yard touchdown and a 7-0 Eagle lead. On the Eagles next scoring drive Skivington again maneuvered his way through the Warwick defense into the end zone from the 29 yards out, finishing off a quick 3 play 41 yard drive, giving the Eagles a 12-0 lead. Fullback Ryan Alphonse led Skivington through the defense knocking down several would be tacklers with devastating blocks. Late in the second quarter the Eagles got the ball at there own 44 yard line. After a short gain by Halfback Nico Valeri, Skivington burst around end for a 20 pick-up and a first down at the Wildcat 34 yard line.   • On the Eagles first scoring drive of the second half, Halfback Dylan Cassisi broke numerous Warwick tackle attempts and then out ran Wildcats for a 56 yard touchdown. On the Eagle drive directed by QB Sean Foschini the Eagles traveled 71 yards in 5 plays and took a 24-0 lead into the fourth quarter. On the Eagles next possession Townsell started off-tackle and weaved his way through the Wildcat defense for another brilliant run this time for 61 yards and a 30-0 Eagle lead. Fullbacks Ryan Alphonse, Brandon May, Reggie Donaldson and Eric Rosario and Halfbacks JT Whritner, Steven Schlett and Matt Skowronski added positive yardage runs.

  • The New Windsor Division I Eagles (8 and 9 year olds) continued their winning ways by beating the neighboring Washingtonville Wolfe’s at home on Saturday night, November 12th in a second round playoff game. They turned in another outstanding effort and posted a 26-0 victory improving their record to 10-0 and advancing to the Orange County Youth Football League Division I Championship game.
  • The Eagle defense was remarkable, shutting down the explosive Wolfe Offense all day. Inside Linebacker Dylan Cassisi and D-Tackle Brandon May lead the tough Eagle defense with several crushing tackles. Giving them support on the interior of the line was, Inside Linebacker Ryan Alphonse, Defensive Guards, Eric Rosario, Bryan Arnold, Nick Iannolo (fumble recovery), and Defensive Tackles Ryan McGowan, and Isaiah Walters (fumble recovery).   • Halfback Nico Valeri started the scoring for the Eagles capping off a 7 play 64 yard drive when he burst his way through the Wolfe’s defense for a 1 yard touchdown. He then powered into the end zone for the conversion and a 7-0 Eagle lead. On the Eagles next scoring drive Quarterback JP Skivington plunged into the end zone from the one, finishing off a 10 play 60 yard drive, giving the Eagles a 13-0 halftime lead.
  • On the Eagles first drive of the second half, Valeri broke numerous Washingtonville tackle attempts for a 7 yard touchdown. Halfback Dylan Cassisi then snuck in for the conversion and a 20-0 Eagle lead. In the fourth quarter Fullback Reggie Donaldson plowed up the middle for a 4 yard touchdown making the score 26-0.   • The New Windsor Division I Eagles (8 and 9 year olds) continued their winning ways against the Minisink Warriors at Home on Sunday, November 6th in a first round playoff game. They turned in another outstanding effort and posted a 25-0 victory improving their record to 9-0.
  • Quarterback JP Skivington started the scoring for the Eagles capping off a 5 play 50 yard drive when he burst his way through the Warrior defense for a 4 yard touchdown. Halfback Nico Valeri than powered his into the end zone for the conversion and a 7-0 Eagle lead.   • The New Windsor Division I Eagles (8 and 9 year olds) continued their winning ways against the Warwick Wildcats at Warwick on Sunday, October 30th. They turned in another outstanding effort and posted a 34-0 victory improving their record to 8-0 finishing their regular season undefeated.
  • The Eagle defense was fabulous, shutting down the high powered Panther Offense all day. Inside Linebackers Dylan Cassisi and Ryan Alphonse, and D-Tackle Ryan McGowan and D-Guard Eric Rosario lead the tough Eagle defense with several crushing tackles. Giving them support on the interior of the line was, Defensive Guards, Matt Skowronski, Bryan Arnold, Nick Iannolo, and Jerome McKeever and Defensive Tackles Brandon May, Isaiah Walters, Joe Vazquez and Grayson Jennings. On the second play of the Eagles next possession Quarterback JP Skivington out ran the Panther defense en route to a brilliant 50 yard touchdown run. Fullback Ryan Alphonse than powered his way into the end zone for the extra point and a 13-0 Eagle lead. The Eagles next drive covered 48 yard and took 8 plays with Skivington getting in the end zone from 10 yards out. Fullback Ryan McGowan plowed his way in for the conversion and a 20-0 Halftime lead.
  • On the Eagles first scoring drive of the second half Quarterback Sean Foschini directed a 12 play 78 yard masterpiece. Fullback Eric Rosario took the ball in from 11 yards out capping off the drive. Fullback Reggie Donaldson then plowed up the middle for the extra point making the score 27-0.   • New Windsor D1 Eagles Clinch Conference Championship.
  • The New Windsor Division I Eagles (8 and 9 year olds) continued their winning ways against the very tough Wallkill Lightening Panthers at home on Sunday, October 23rd. They turned in another outstanding effort and posted a 32-7 victory improving their record to 7-0 and clinching the OCYFL Division I West Conference regular season Championship.
  • The Eagle defense was tremendous, shutting down the high powered Panther Offense most of the day. Inside Linebackers Dylan Cassisi and Ryan Alphonse, and D-Tackles Ryan McGowan and Brandon May lead the tough Eagle defense with several crushing tackles. Giving them support on the interior of the line was, Defensive Guards Eric Rosario, Matt Skowronski, Bryan Arnold, Nick Iannolo, and Jerome McKeever and Defensive Tackles Isaiah Walters, Joe Vazquez and Grayson Jennings. Supplying outside support were Cornerbacks Steven Schlett, Jamel Blanding, Sean Foschini and Giovanni Marrero, and Defensive Ends, John Townsell, Nico Valeri, and JT Whritner.

Wallkill took a 7-6 lead early in the second quarter on an outstanding drive through the Eagle defense. With 21 seconds left in the half and the Eagles facing a 4th and 18 Halfback John Townsell out ran the Panther defense on route to a brilliant 49 yard touchdown rub to give the Eagles a 12-7 halftime lead.
  • On the Eagles first drive of the second half Quarterback JP Skivington took the ball in from 38 yards out capping off a 9 play 65 yard drive. Fullback Ryan Alphonse then plowed up the middle for the extra point making the score 19-7. On the Eagles next possession Skivington directed a quick 6 play 57 yard drive which Townsell finished off with a touchdown from the 25 yard line. Fullback Ryan McGowan rumbled in for the extra point making the score 26-7. In the fourth quarter Sean Foschini took over at quarterback and directed another quick scoring drive of 57 yards that ended with Halfback Dylan Cassisi exploding for a 40 yard touchdown run making the score 32-7 Eagles. Fullback Brandon May and Halfbacks Steven Schlett and Matt Skowronski added positive yardage runs.

  • The New Windsor Division I Eagles (8 and 9 year olds) continued their winning ways against the Valley Central Vikings at home on Sunday, October 16. They turned in another outstanding effort and posted a 33-0 victory improving their record to 6-0.
  • The Eagle defense was terrific, shutting down the Viking Offense all day. Halfback "JT" Whritner busted off tackle for the conversion and a 7-0 Eagle lead. On the Eagles next possession Fullback Ryan Alphonse finished off a 8 play 56 yard drive with a 3 yard touchdown and a 13-0 lead. Quarterback Skivington finished off the next Eagle drive by bursting around end to the End Zone from 55 yards out. Quarterback Sean Foschini then hit Halfback Dylan Cassisi with a pass for the one point conversion and a 20-0 Eagle halftime lead.

  • The New Windsor Division I Eagles (8 and 9 year olds) continued their winning ways against the neighboring Cornwall Dragons at home on Sunday, October 2nd. They turned in another outstanding effort and posted a 40-0 victory improving their record to 5-0.
  • The Eagle defense was stupendous, shutting down the Dragon Offense all day. Inside Linebacker Dylan Cassisi, Safety/D-End "JP" Skivington and D-Tackle Brandon May lead the sturdy Eagle defense with several crushing tackles. Giving them support on the interior of the line was Inside Linebacker Ryan Alphonse (fumble recovery), Defensive Guards Eric Rosario, Matt Skowronski, Reggie Donaldson, Nick Iannolo, and Jerome McKeever and Defensive Tackles Ryan McGowan, and Grayson Jennings. Supplying outside support were Cornerbacks Steven Schlett, Jamel Blanding, Giovanni Marrero, and Defensive Ends John Townsell, Nico Valeri, "JT" Whritner, and Isaiah Walters.

Fullback Ryan Alphonse then powered his way into the End Zone for the extra point and a 13-0 lead. Quarterback Skivington finished off the next Eagle drive by bursting around end to the End Zone from 23 yards out. Quarterback Sean Foschini than hit Halfback John Townsell with a pass over the Dragon defense for the one point conversion and a 20-0 Eagle lead. After the Eagles stopped the Cougars cold on three plays, Halfback Dylan Cassisi outran the Cornwall defense for a marvelous 55 yard touchdown run. He then made a diving catch of a Foschini pass for the extra point and a 27-0 lead. On the Eagles last possession of the second quarter Halfback John Townsell scored on a terrific 66 yard sprint. Cassisi added the extra point on a burst off tackle and a 34-0 Eagle halftime lead.
  • On the Eagles only scoring drive of the second half Cassisi took the ball and maneuvered through the Cornwall defense for a brilliant 16 yard run that made the score 40-0. In the forth quarter Gio Marrero took over at quarterback and directed a drive of 12 yards that ended when time ran out. Fullback Brandon May busted up the middle for two strong runs. Halfback Matt Skowronski added positive yardage runs also.

  • The New Windsor Division I Eagles (8 and 9 year olds) continued their winning ways against the previously undefeated Chester Cougars at Chester Commons on Sunday, September 25th. They turned in an outstanding effort and posted a 34-0 victory improving their record to 4-0.
  • The Eagle defense was Outstanding, shutting down the Cougar Offense all day. Inside Linebackers Dylan Cassisi and Ryan Alphonse and Cornerback Steven Schlett lead the strong Eagle defense with several crushing tackles. Whritner then out ran the Cougar defense for the one point conversion and a 14-0 Eagle lead.   • On the Eagles next possession Dylan Cassisi took the ball and maneuvered through the Cougar defense for a brilliant 41 yard run. John Townsell scored from 6 yards out that made the score 34-0. In the forth quarter Gio Marrero took over at quarterback and directed a drive of 29 yards that ended when time ran out. Fullback Brandon May busted up the middle for two strong runs. Halfbacks Steven Schlett, Jamel Blanding and Matt Skowronski added positive yardage runs also.

  • The New Windsor Division I Eagles (8 and 9 year olds) continued their winning ways against the Highland Falls Falcons at O’Neil High School on Sunday September 18. They turned in an outstanding effort and posted a 54-0 victory improving their record to 3-0.
  • The Eagle defense was Outstanding, shutting down the Falcon Offense all day. Inside Linebackers Dylan Cassisi and Ryan Alphonse and Defensive Ends Nico Valeri and John Townsell lead the strong Eagle defense with several crushing tackles. Giving them support on the interior of the line was Defensive Guards Eric Rosario, Matt Skowronski, Reggie Donaldson, Nick Iannolo, Chris Baines, and Jerome McKeever and Defensive Tackles Ryan McGowan, Brandon May, Grayson Jennings, Sean Foschini, Joe Vazquez, and Kevin Hofving. Halfback Nico Valeri then powered the ball into the End Zone on the conversion for a 7-0 Eagle lead. On the Eagles next possession Skivington directed another scoring drive this time 55 yards in 7 plays. Fullback Ryan Alphonse finished off the drive by bursting off tackle and into the End Zone. Skivington then hit Halfback Nico Valeri with a pass for the one point conversion and a 14-0 Eagle lead. On the Eagle next series Foschini directed another scoring drive of 59 yard in 3 plays. Cassisi scored his second touchdown this time from 40 yards out. Fullback Ryan McGowan added the conversion on an off-tackle run. In the forth quarter Gio Marrero took over at quarterback and directed another quick scoring drive of 41 yards in just 2 plays. Fullback Brandon May busted up the middle and scored from 36 yards out. Marrero directed the final scoring drive of the day and contributed with a 15 yard run of his own.   • Quarterback "JP" Skivington started the scoring for the Eagles when he capped off a 9 play 55 yard opening drive by New Windsor with a 5 yard touchdown run. Halfback Nico Valeri then powered the ball into the End Zone on the conversion for a 7-0 Eagle lead. After Steven Schlett intercepted a Bushmen pass and returned it 7 yards, Skivington directed another scoring drive this time 30 yards in 2 plays. Halfback "JT" Whritner finished off the short drive by bursting off tackle and out running the Pine Bush defense to the End Zone for a 13-0 New Windsor lead. After the Eagles stopped the Bushmen cold on three plays, Skivington directed another scoring drive this time 51 yards in 6 plays to make the score 19-0 at half time. Halfback Nico Valeri finished that drive off with a 1 yard touchdown which was set up by a 30 yard scamper by Skivington.
  • After halftime Sean Foschini took over at QB and directed a 65 yard 11 play drive that ate up the clock and ended the scoring for the day. Foschini made crisp hand offs to Fullback Ryan McGowan, and Halfbacks Dylan Cassisi, John Townsell, and Jamal Blanding all who had runs for gains on the drive. Foschini also completed the Eagles first pass attempt of the year to Cassisi for a first down to keep the drive alive.   • The New Windsor Division I Eagles (8 and 9 year olds) opened their 2005 Football season at Minisink Valley High School on Saturday September 3. They turned in a strong effort against the home standing Minisink Warriors and posted a 27-6 victory.
  • The Eagle defense was Outstanding, shutting down the Warrior Offense most of the day. Inside Linebackers Dylan Cassisi and Ryan Alphonse and Defensive Ends Nico Valeri and John Townsell lead the strong Eagle defense with several crushing tackles. Giving them support on the interior of the line was Defensive Guards Eric Rosario, Matt Skowronski, Reggie Donaldson, Nick Iannolo, Bryan Arnold, and Jerome McKeever and Defensive Tackles Ryan McGowan, Brandon May, Grayson Jennings, Joshua Dolan, Joe Vazquez, and Kevin Hofving. Halfback Nico Valeri then powered the ball into the End Zone for a 7-0 Eagle lead. After the tough Eagle Defense stopped Minisink cold on three plays, Skivington directed another scoring drive this time 59 yards in 7 plays. Fullback Ryan Alphonse finished off the drive by bursting into the End Zone for a 13-0 New Windsor lead. After each team had drives stall, Minisink got on the board just before half on a 47 yard to make the score 13-6 at half time.
  • The Eagle got a big lift late in the third quarter when Inside Linebacker Dylan Cassisi intercepted a pass and returned it 50 yards to the Minisink 7 yard line. After a penalty pushed them back to the 10 yard line QB Skivington out ran the Warrior defense for his second touchdown of the day early in the fourth quarter. Halfback John Townsell then took off right for the extra point found his hole clogged reversed his field and scored the extra point on an outstanding individual effort to make the tally 20-6.
  • The Eagle Defense stopped the Warriors on their next possession and took over at their own 36 yard line. Sean Foschini took over at QB and directed a 64 yard 15 play drive that ate up the clock and ended the scoring for the day. Foschini made crisp hand offs to Fullbacks Ryan Alphonse, Ryan McGowan, Brandon May and Halfbacks Dylan Cassisi, John Townsell, and JT Whritner all who had runs for gains on the drive. Cassisi ended the drive with a terrific tackle busting run for a 9 yard touchdown. Fullback Brandon May added the extra point with a burst off tackled making the score 27-6.
