031026 - New Windsor vs Washingtonville
  • Mighty Mite Eagles Battle Gators in Season Finale.
  • The New Windsor Eagles Mighty Mites (6 and 7 year olds) hosted the Washingtonville Gators in their final game of the 2003 Football campaign field Sunday. They posted another outstanding effort against the tough Washingtonville team at Mt. Airy Sports Complex. Leading the way with several outstanding plays was Quarterback Sean Foschini including completing the teams first (and only) pass attempt of the year to Halfback Dylan Cassisi for a 30-yard gain. Cassisi ran a perfect route and Foschini hit him in stride with a tight spiral. Foschini directed the Eagle offensive machine making solid handoffs, despite at times getting hit as he made the handoffs to Halfbacks Jamel Blanding, Steven Schlett, Dylan Cassisi, Nico Valeri and "JP" Skivington who all had tough runs for positive yardage. Skivington broke several tackles on his way to a terrific long touchdown run late in the game. Smashing the ball up the middle on powerful runs was Fullbacks Brandon May and Ryan Alphonse. Opening holes as they have all year for the Backs with strong blocks were Guards, Isaiah Walters, Eric Rosario and Ryan Parrington, and Tackle Colin Parrington. Center Nicholas Slepoy did a great job snapping the ball to get the offense rolling.
  • The swarming Eagles defense played its usual outstanding game and was able to contain the Gator Offence all day. Inside Linebacker Nico Valeri was all over the field again making plays. Valeri along with Defensive Tackle Eric Rosario lead the strong Eagle defense with several crushing tackles. Rosario’s quickness off the ball had him in the Gator backfield disrupting things all game. Giving them strong support on the interior of the line was Defensive Tackles, Sean Ciaschi, Chance Mannix and Robert Zalogh and Inside Linebacker Ryan Alphonse. Shutting down the outside were Outside Linebackers Sean Foschini, and Steven Schlett, and Cornerbacks Jamel Blanding, Ian Mullarkey, Gio Marrero, and Chris Baines. Defensive Ends Brandon May and "JP" Skivington were outstanding making several key tackles throughout the game for the Eagles. Preventing long gains was Safety Dylan Cassisi, making several crucial hard-hitting tackles. Returning to action from after a season long injury was Defensive Back Steven Slepoy who assisted on several tackles.
  • The coaching staff of Errol Foschini, Joe Covello, Jamel Blanding, Dan Valeri and Adam Foschini would like to thank the amazing New Windsor Eagle Mighty Mite Cheerleaders and Coaches, team Parents and friends for the Enthusiastic support they gave the team this year. This group of 6 and 7 years olds had an outstanding year playing with heart and determination all year. Way to go EAGLES!

  • Mighty Mite Eagles Fly into Newburgh.
  • The New Windsor Eagles Mighty Mites (6 and 7 year olds) traveled to the Town of Newburgh to continue their 2003 Football campaign on a rain soaked field Sunday. They posted another outstanding effort against the fast and rugged Newburgh Giants at Cronomer Park. Leading the way on both sides of the ball with several outstanding plays was RB/LB Nico Valeri. Quarterback Sean Foschini directed the Eagle offensive machine making solid handoffs, despite the wet conditions, to Valeri and fellow Halfbacks Jamel Blanding, Steven Schlett, Dylan Cassisi and "JP" Skivington who all had tough runs for positive yardage. Skivington broke several tackles on his way to a long touchdown run early in the game. Smashing the ball up the middle on powerful runs was Fullback Brandon May. Opening holes for the Backs with strong blocks were Guards, Robert Zalogh and Ryan Parrington, and Tackles Colin Parrington and Eric Rosario. Valeri along with Defensive Tackle Eric Rosario lead the strong Eagle defense with several crushing tackles. Giving them strong support on the interior of the line was Defensive Tackles, Colin Parrington, Sean Ciaschi and Robert Zalogh and Inside Linebacker Jamel Blanding. Shutting down the outside were Outside Linebackers Sean Foschini, and Steven Schlett, and Cornerbacks Ian Mullarkey, Gio Marrero, and Chris Baines. Defensive Ends Brandon May and "JP" Skivington made key tackles late in the game for the Eagles. Preventing long gains was Safety Dylan Cassisi, making several crucial hard-hitting tackles. Injured Eagle Steven Slepoy assisted the coaching staff and was on the sidelines giving his team support during the game.

031012 - New Windsor vs Warwick Purple
  • Mighty Mite Eagles Tussle with Wildcats!
  • The New Windsor Mighty Mite (6 and 7 year olds) continued their 2003 Football season in Warwick on Sunday. They posted another terrific effort against a big and well coached Warwick team at Veterans Memorial Park. Leading the way for the Eagles was RB/DB Jamel Blanding. He made several outstanding plays on both sides of the ball including key touchdown saving tackles. QB Sean Foschini ran the offense for the Eagles making clean handoffs to Halfbacks Steven Schlett, Nico Valeri, and Jamel Blanding as well as to "JP" Skivington who broke loose early in the game for a long touchdown run. Driving the ball up the middle on power runs were Fullbacks Ryan Alphonse and Brandon May who scored his first TD of the year. Making holes for the Backs were guards Isaiah Waters, Ryan Parrington, Robert Zalogh and Eric Rosario, and Tackle Colin Parrington. Centers Nicholas Slepoy and Sean Ciassi did a great job snapping the ball all game.

Giving them support on the interior of the line was Defensive Tackles, Eric Rosario, Sean Ciassi, and Robert Zalogh. Supplying outside support were Outside Linebackers Steven Schlett and Sean Foschini, Cornerbacks Chris Baines, Gio Marrero, Chance Mannix and Ian Mullarkey. On hand to provide support for their team was injured Eagle Steven Slepoy.
  • The Enthusiastic Eagle Cheerleaders, team parents and friends again supported the team. The Mighty Mites next game is Sunday October 19, 2003 at Newburgh 5PM.

  • The New Windsor Eagles Mighty Mites (6 and 7 year olds) continued their 2003 Football season at home on Sunday. They posted another solid effort against, the well coached, Wallkill Panthers at the Mt. Airy Sports Complex. Leading the way on offense with several bruising runs including a long touchdown run on which he broke numerous tackles was Fullback Ryan Alphonse. Quarterback Sean Foschini directed the Eagle offensive machine making sound handoffs, to Alphonse and Halfbacks Nico Valeri, Jamel Blanding, "JP" Skivington and Steven Schlett who all had outstanding runs for positive yardage. Skivington carried several Panther would be tacklers into the End Zone with him for a TD on the Eagles opening drive of the game. Smashing the ball up the middle on fierce runs was Fullback Brandon May. Opening holes for the Backs with solid blocks were Guards Isaiah Waters, and Ryan Parrington, Tackle Colin Parrington and End Eric Rosario. Center Nicholas Slepoy did a great job snapping the ball all day.

Inside Linebackers Ryan Alphonse and Nico Valeri and Defensive Ends Brandon May and "JP" Skivington lead the strong Eagle defense with several crushing tackles. Giving them strong support on the interior of the line was Defensive Tackles, Eric Rosario, Sean Ciaschi and Robert Zalogh. Rosario showed great quickness off the ball and was in the Panther backfield all game. Shutting down the outside was Outside Linebackers Sean Foschini, and Steven Schlett, and Cornerbacks Ian Mullarkey, Gio Marrero, and Chris Baines. Preventing long gains was Safeties Jamel Blanding and Dylan Cassisi, making several key tackles. Cassisi made a key crushing tackle late in the game for the Eagles. Injured Eagle Steven Slepoy assisted the coaching staff and was on the sidelines giving his team support during the game.

  • The New Windsor Eagles Mighty Mites (6 and 7 year olds) traveled to Washingtonville to continue their 2003 Football campaign on a rain soaked field Sunday. They posted another strong effort against the rugged Washingtonville Gators at Lasser Park. Leading the way on offense with several outstanding plays including two long touchdown jaunts on which he broke several tackles was halfback "JP" Skivington. Quarterback Sean Foschini directed the Eagle offensive machine making solid handoffs, despite the wet conditions, to Skivington and fellow Halfbacks Nico Valeri, Jamel Blanding and Steven Schlett who all had runs for positive yardage. Smashing the ball up the middle on powerful runs were Fullbacks Ryan Alphonse and Brandon May. Opening holes for the Backs with strong blocks were Guards Isaiah Waters, and Ryan Parrington, Tackle Colin Parrington and End Robert Zalogh.   • The New Windsor Mighty Mite (6 and 7 year olds) continued their 2003 Football season at home on Sunday. They posted an outstanding effort against a very big and well coached visiting Pine Bush team at Mt. Airy Sports Complex. Leading the way for the Eagles despite not feeling 100 % was "JP" Skivington. He made several outstanding plays on both sides of the ball including a touchdown saving tackle early in the game. QB Sean Foschini ran the offense for the Eagles making clean handoffs and pitching the ball to Halfbacks Steven Schlett, Nico Valeri, Jamel Blanding as well as to Skivington. Driving the ball up the middle on power runs were Fullbacks Ryan Alphonse and Brandon May. Making holes for the Backs were guards Isaiah Waters, Ryan Parrington and Eric Rosario, and Tackle Colin Parrington. Center Nicholas Slepoy did a great job snapping the ball all game.

Giving them support on the interior of the line was Defensive Tackles, Eric Rosario, Sean Cashini, and Robert Zalogh who stepped up and made several hard tackles late in the game. Supplying outside support were Outside Linebackers Steven Schlett and Sean Foschini, Cornerbacks Chris Baines, Gio Marrero, and Ian Mullarkey. Preventing any long gains was Safety Jamel Blanding. On hand to provide support for their team was injured Eagles Chance Mannix and Steven Slepoy.

  • The New Windsor Eagles Mighty Mites (6 and 7 year olds) traveled to Warwick to play their second game of the 2003 Football season on a rain soaked field Saturday. They posted an anther strong effort against the rouged Warwick Wildcats at Veterans Memorial Park. Leading the way on offense with several outstanding plays including a long touchdown scamper on which he broke several tackles was halfback Steven Schlett. Quarterback Sean Foschini steered the Eagle offensive machine making solid handoffs to Schlett and fellow Halfbacks Nico Valeri, Jamel Blanding and "JP" Skivington who all had runs for positive yardage. "JP’s" got outside the fast Wildcat defense and sprinted for a long TD on one of his carries. Nico Valeri powered through the Wildcat line and out ran everyone for his first TD of the year. Smashing the ball up the middle on powerful runs were Fullbacks Ryan Alphonse and Brandon May. Opening holes for the Backs with strong blocks were Guards Robert Zalogh, and Ryan Parrington, and Tackle Colin Parrington, Centers Nicholas Slepoy and Gio Marrero, did a good job snapping the ball in the wet conditions.

Injured Eagles Steven Slepoy and Chance Mannix assisted the coaching staff and were on the sidelines giving their team support during the game.

  • The New Windsor Eagles Mighty Mites (6 and 7 year olds) opened their 2003 Football season at home on Sunday. They posted a strong effort against the visiting Wallkill Panthers at the Mt. Airy Sports Complex. Leading the way on offense with several outstanding plays including two long touchdown runs was halfback Jamel Blanding. Quarterback Sean Foschini directed the potent Eagle offense making crisp handoffs to Blanding and fellow Halfbacks Nico Valeri, Steven Schlett and "JP" Skivington who all had runs for substantial gains. On one of "JP’s" carries he out ran the tuff Panther defense for a long TD. Powering the ball up the middle on strong runs were Fullbacks Ryan Alphonse and Brandon May. Opening holes for the Backs with terrific blocks were Guards Isaiah Waters, and Ryan Parrington, Tackles Robert Zalogh and Colin Parrington and End Chris Baines. Center Nicholas Slepoy did an outstanding job snapping the ball all game getting the Eagle offense started.

Supplying outside support were Defense End Brandon May, Outside Linebackers Sean Foschini, and Steven Schlett, and Cornerbacks Ian Mullarkey, Gio Marrero, Jaime Sabater and Chance Mannix. Preventing long gains were Safeties Chris Baines and Jamel Blanding. Injured honorary Captain Steven Slepoy participated in the opening coin toss and was on the sidelines giving his team moral support during the game.
